Welcome back to my blog. Hope you all have kickass start of 2018. So in today's post i'm going to share some tips on online shopping. How i shop, how i select my size, how i get stuff at such a cheap price and many more, so let's just start with the post.
So guys i love shop online, i rarely visit the stores for shopping. because its pretty easy to shop online just seat at home and you can visit any brand store you want just from your phone and get the stuff at your door step. And also you can get so many awesome deals online that you can not get at shops. Because mainly shops have their discounts just twice in a year and i'm a sale shopper guys i can't waste too much money on clothes. That's why i visit shops when their are sale is going otherwise i prefer online shopping because their are so many sites they have almost every time some discount going on. And now their are so many sites and apps that have easy return and exchange policy so you don't need to worry about sizing and quality.
Ok so many of us are afraid of online shopping because of the quality of the product and much more. So for that i suggest you to try something inexpensive first. Also read reviews do some research about the sites or order from some known sites. You can order some makeup product or accessories first. And once you loose your fear everything will be so simple that the only problem you'll have to deal with is to moderate your online shopping.
So while online shopping the 1st thing everyone get confuse about is sizing. But don't worry guys you can measure your self and also every brand or even every single product have their sizing chart which mention on the site or app. So just go through that chart and they have even mention that how you can measure your self so just follow the step and get your size done. And trust me once you try then you can get idea and you don't need to measure yourself again and again. And also their so many sites they have reviews which are posted by customer and so many of them had posted the picture of item also and if product is running true size so do check out the customer reviews. If you are shopping for the very first time then check their return and exchange policy and then order so if their is any sizing issue so you can easily exchange or return. And don't shop internationally if you are not sure for size because they didn't have easy return or exchange policy so first try Indian sites and get sure about your size and then shop from international sites.
Ok so 2nd thing is shipping charge and custom. So when you shop from India their so many sites they offer free shipping and if they have shipping charge then the amount is not that so big, so anyway we can afford that. Myntra, jabong , koovs and so many sites have free shipping. And now talking about custom, when you shop from international sites you have to pay custom. Now i have some tips for you guys to avoid them and i had already tried them. So 1st thing is don't order so much stuff in 1 order so if your package is small the officer doesn't mind or check them so this way you can avoid custom. And if you want to order much stuff then divide your order in 2-3 parts and for every order provide them different address, so you can give your friend's house address. so that way you can avoid custom. And also their is another tip is that if you are shopping from aliexpress or ebay so this sites have different different vendors so you can mail them and request them to put a note in your package saying that this is a gift. because generally custom can not be applied on gifts. So yes that way you can avoid customs.
Now the third and main thing is payment. Ok so generally i use my card for payment. But in india their are so many sites they offer COD (cash on delivery) so you can pay when your stuff came. so that is more convenient. But i did not use cod because i prefer online payments. But that's totally depends on you. For international sites you need to pay first and if there is any custom charge so that you need to pay while your package came. So their is site called asos so many of you know that. So asos have one thing that you order something from their site and after you get a mail in that mail your custom charge is already mentioned so you have to pay custom first and then they ship your package. so many parcel get returned because of custom. so they recently started this thing and for us even this is more convenient at least we know that how much we need to pay. Another option is pay using paypal if the site offers. Paypal is very secure you just have to enter your card detail and you can pay via them but they do take extra charge.
Ok so main thing is offers and sales. So for that what i do is the sites which i love, i download the apps of them and turn on the notification. i know that is irritating sometimes but that way you can not miss any offers. And do not avoid any notification just check it once you might get something at very cheap. Also if the site have not app then subscribe them newsletter so they will mail you whenever they have offers going on.I know that is also little annoying but that's ok if you want to shop from sale.
